Accessibility statement

Vintage Park Salon is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including guests who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, or keyboard-only navigation. We want everyone to be able to browse our services and request an appointment with ease.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we work to improve the experience as we update the site.

What we've done

  • Text and background colors chosen for readable contrast.
  • Descriptive alternative text on informative images; decorative images hidden from assistive tech.
  • A "Skip to main content" link and keyboard-operable navigation with visible focus indicators.
  • Labeled form fields and clear error messaging on our appointment and contact forms.
  • Respect for the "reduce motion" browser setting, which turns off non-essential animation.

Ongoing work & known limitations

Some content — including images or embeds from third-party platforms — may not yet be fully accessible. We treat accessibility as continuous work and prioritize fixes as we find them or as they are reported to us.

Tell us about a barrier

If you have trouble using any part of this website, or you need information in a different format, please let us know — we will do our best to help and to fix the issue. You can also simply call or text us to book, and a real person will assist you directly.
